Cellphone / Mobile Phone

Lower School:

Lower school pupils are not allowed to bring cell phones or mobile devices to school during face-to-face class days.

If they need to call their parents during the school day, they must go to the office to text or call their parents.

Junior High School:

Grade 7-10 students are discouraged from bringing cell phones to school. If they bring, cell phones must be deposited in the office upon arrival and will be returned to the students at dismissal time.

Students may use their cell phones during class hours only when a teacher assigns them for a lesson activity in the classroom upon the principal’s approval.

Senior High School:

SHS students do not need to deposit their cell phones in the office.

There should be no earbuds, earphones, headsets, music, texting, games, or videos within class hours except for when a teacher assigns them for a lesson activity in the classroom upon the approval of the principal.

Note:

As the school discourages bringing cell phones in school, the owners should be responsible for them while in school.
