CEM Tests and Standardized Tests

These tests are administered to give parents, teachers, and the administration valuable information on the students’ level of academic achievement and future career, specifically their strengths and weaknesses in different subject areas. These also determine whether a particular student or group of students needs to undergo remedial classes or be given advanced programs.

A CEM (Center for Educational Measurement) yearend test percentile average of at least 96% (or Excellent) in English, Math, and Science is required for the Director’s List (First Honors) while 93% (or Above Average) for the Principal’s List (Second Honors).

The CEM percentile average is not a qualification for DepEd-based honors (Academic Distinction).
