Corporal Punishment

Corporal punishment is prohibited. It is a disciplinary method in which a teacher deliberately inflicts physical/emotional/mental pain upon a child in response to a child’s unacceptable behavior or inappropriate language. Misbehavior, non-compliance, incomplete or non-submission of assignment should not be grounds for corporal punishment. Destroying or rejecting student project/assignment due to anger, frustration, or disappointment is prohibited. After due process, violation of this may cause suspension or dismissal of a teacher.
