A student with 20% unexcused absence in the entire school year or 10% in the entire semester may fail. He must get at least a grade average of 75% in each required subject as a requirement for graduation or grade level completion. A failing student may get a failing grade even if the parents refuse to come to school for a meeting or PTC.
